The Vanity Belles

After years of working in artist development, I have finally spread my managerial wings. I have always wanted to apply my new-age marketing creativity to an act I believe in and I found them!

I have been having the time of my life currently representing The Vanity Belles™.
The Vanity Belles™ are a genre-breaking Cosmo-Country™ duo consisting of Carrie Welling (Colorado Springs, Colorado) and Jessi Rae Waltz (Nashville, TN). I have been co-writing with the two beauties and writing some dynamic new music that “provides audio friendship to anyone relating to the human struggle and/or just the pursuit of good wholesome fun!”. The Vanity Belles™ deliver the unique crossover sound of country-infused-rock-n-roll married with a startling knack for exceptional independent branding. One only has to peep at the girls’ online presence or attend an innovative live performance to immediately align with the ladies’ infectious message.I co-produced The Vanity Belles™ debut full length album Take Two that will follow the self-titled three-song EP (released May 2011) that was noted as “New And Noteworthy” by Apple’s iTunes. The album was entirely fan-funded through the online platform KICKSTARTER and featured a reward release of some LIVE cuts entitled “One Night In Euphoria”, the band’s foundation release. The Vanity Belles™ and I plan to continue unleashing fresh viral marketing ideas for the music industry (Belle-a-Grams™, Occupy Radio Tour™, Belle Boot Camp™, video show fliers and viral commercials, etc.) while increasing awareness of Cosmo-Country™ music. The Vanity Belles™ are currently entertaining record label interests.
Under the open minded trust of Carrie and Jessi, I was faced with the task of collecting the perfect band. I assembled a band by congregating an array of some of New York’s most elite musicians, many of which I had known for years and with whom I have had the opportunity to share a stage.

The Vanity Belles™ have a strong social media presence including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, WordPress Blog, etc. They are currently playing NYC’s most respected venues and will embark on the Occupy Radio Tour™ in the spring of 2012 coinciding with the release of Take Two. The Vanity Belles™ are the faces of Green Mountain Energy, the nation’s leader in renewable source energy, and have been deemed the “greenest singer/songwriters in New York”.

Buffstock Music Festival

My proudest accomplishment has been the successful creation of Buffstock™.
BUFFSTOCK™ is a three day camp-out and music festival founded by my brothers and I featuring food, laughs, games, and some of the northeast’s most notable artists on a secret 16 acre lot of paradise. It has become an annual musician’s retreat where I have experienced some of the most notable moments of my life. It happened organically. Buffstock™ birthed from a few songwriting friends siting around a campfire in Belvidere, NJ and the few followers who deemed us worthy to invite friends to listen. The energy of the festival has become so infectious that we have been forced to make the event exclusive. WHICH I HATE ! I want the whole world to see it! But for now anyway, it’s an “if you know than you know” type of event. You can see a bunch of the videos on Buffstock’s youtube site!
